Fusion

Fusion

Fusion is a broad-spectrum insecticide that belongs to the phenylpyrazole chemical family and widely used on Rice, Maize and Sugarcane crops. Fusion disrupts the insect central nervous system by blocking gaba-gated chloride channels and glutamate-gated chloride (glucl) channels. This causes hyperexcitation of contaminated insects’ nerves and muscles. Fusion is highly useful as insect resistance management (IRM) tool. Fusion is suitable for IPM (integrated pest management) programs, that is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.
